Been given green light to ride this weekend. Although Sam Thomas won aboard Noland, I reckon Paul Nicholls must be very relieved to his main rider back. Good news for racing as a whole too.

Re: Ruby Walsh I just think he is rushing back a couple of weeks too soon. He is clearly the best jumps jockey going, and I would hate to see him to himself irrepairable damage... Have been reading about his operation, he is now going to have to take antibiotics each and every day for the rest of his life. Having the spleen removed leads to a huge immune deficiency and he will be susceptible to just the slightest cold or flu bug.... rubbish.
