Before i went to bed this morning i looked at the Hereford card and thought................... 2 nice handicap races offering 16+ runners = 4 places i get up now and find in the 12.40 16 declared Marado is now a non runner then funnily enough in the 2.40 18 declared there is 3 non runners. You have to laugh almost, something has to be done, week in and week out this is happening. Fair enough if the horse has been found lame or travel problems but when you open the paper the next day to see the reasoning behind the witdrawl it rads "Self Certificate". What a load of BULL basically they have no proper excuse. Any views????

It seems too happen too much for my liking too, you can understand it if there is a 16 runner race and 1 horse gets pulled out but the regularity with which 18 runner races get reduced to 15 smells fishy to me. The Hennessy was reduced to 15 runners on Saturday and McCririck said it would save bookies £1.5m, Make of that what you will!
