Re: Golf - Omega Mission Hills World Cup 2008 Format: Day 1 was fourballs - whoever cards the lowest score out the pair per hole Day 2 was foursomes - both players take turns to piece per shot each hole Day 3 is fourballs Day 4 is foursomes Day 3 Fourballs - Portugal v South Africa - 01:30 29/11/08 GMT Portugal consists of 2 players who are largely unknown: Tiago Cruz & Ricardo Santos Both became pro in 2006 and have no significant form or wins to their name so far in their very short pro careers. South Africa consists of 2 well known decent pro's: Rory Sabatini & Richard Sterne They came 4th in 2006 together in this tournament so have the experience in these type of events! Sabatini has played this tournament before with different partners and has recorded: 2004 Trevor Immelman finished 4th 2003 Trevor Immelman finished 1st 2002 Tim Clark finished 5th What we have in terms of an event is a well oiled machine in the South African pairing against a pair of rookies. Portugal scored a decent 1st round score in the fourballs (which it will be today) scoring -4 however in the foursomes they combined for +2. South Africa have been steady both days scoring -1 each day. The inevitability here that South Africa will be far too good for Portugal. South Africa @1.40 Paddypower ***** :ok
