I think you know now it should have been a call,but do you think that because it was part of your staking offer you played it wrong? Sort of play i make when I am playing above my normal stakes. Very keen on these small raises preflop though, easy to fold with weak hands and easy to call with well disguised big hands.(like AK). Been having trouble recently in tourneys with the same sort of stack size that you have there, its not small enough to play itself but not big enough to play much poker with either. george2loose Posted November 22, 2008 Share Posted November 22, 2008 Re: Tournament - AKo - reraised - M=8.5ish He may think he can get you off it with a smaller raise. 2.5* raise is pretty standard when ante's kick in- I know a lot of people argue that you're giving marginal hands odds but such are stack sizes at this stage peeps are rarely peeling off a flop Where did u finish in the end?
