deadlydaveLDN Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Basically, I don't see why anyone with half a brain would be playing NLHE cash games these days. Even the bad players at low stakes table have a decent understanding of the game. 5 years ago, all you had to do to beat NLHE cash games was play a TAG game, and watch the cash roll in. Well PLO is at that stage right now - a growing game full of lots of fish trying to learn it. And, even better, it's a real action game, compared to the grind of NLHE. Eventually the games will toughen up, and we'll have to find a new cash machine, but I don't think that will happen all that soon, as we're not exactly overwhelmed by media coverage of PLO. The more obscure the better, as my biggest strength is working games out for myself quickly, rather than reading articles/learning to play like a robot.
