Mr I's Glory Hunt

In my last attempt at Glory, I tried some trading which didn’t end up going so well. I feel that I was going for “hard money†laying a lot of favs. This time, I’m looking at what a lot of other guys on here are doing and go for some “EASY MONEYâ€! (old guys will remember I had a tennis system called this a few years back;)) <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I don’t want to restrict myself in the types of bet, but I do like the ideas of 1+, laying scores and I plan on doing some in-running stuff on events that are ‘nearly done’ (screenshots will be provided). I’ll be going all in most of the time but will retain some flexibility if I want to add something else.

I think the most important thing in these types of GH’s is the money management and the banking plan. I’ll be starting with £107.95 that I have in the account and trying to treble this amount. If I manage to treble it I will bank one third and continue with the rest. If it all goes to plan (not likely) I will continue this for 7 stages then the hunt will end. Here’s the breakdown of the plan:

Stage 1: Start bank £100 => End bank £300 => Bank £100 Stage 2: Start bank £200 => End bank £600 => Bank £200 Stage 3: Start bank £400 => End bank £1200 => Bank £400 Stage 4: Start bank £800 => End bank £2400 => Bank £800 Stage 5: Start bank £1600 => End bank £4800 => Bank £1600 Stage 6: Start bank £3200 => End bank £9600 => Bank £3200 Stage 7: Start bank £6400 => End bank £19200 => Bank £19200

Total Banked = £25500

If I achieve average odds (after commission) of 1.0156 then I’ll need around 500 winning bets, if average odds of 1.10 then I’ll need 84 correct bets. I plan on being somewhere inbetween. I also plan on getting through the bets quite quickly, with several each day I’m doing it (some days very little time so I’ll be doing none).

If I lose before I’ve banked, I may start again but may not. If I lose after I’ve banked some then I’ll go back down the stages and start again at stage 1 or stage 2.

I’ll be doing this on Betfair – I understand PC may be a problem if I get pretty far through this, but I’ll deal with that if and when I have to.

I’ll try to follow the format used by other GH’ers to keep it easy to see what stage of the hunt I am on and how far through that level that I am.

Think that’s all I’ve got to say – probably lose 1st bet after typing all this.
