NMc106
14-55 Wincanton - Alfadora - E/W Was on him lto thanks to Mileni who tipped him up. Won very easily there and had plenty left in the tank if need be. Up 9lbs from that run and on softer ground, though has won on soft ground before. Distance dropped by a couple of furlongs and I think he has a good chance. :hope
Jonesy Knows
Re: Wincanton 26/10/2008 Paul Nicholls is "The Man" here: 2008 stats read: 2 from 3 Hurdles winners 1 from 1 chase winners Pertinent 1.15 @4.50 Paddypower Easy to back when comfortably held at Taunton in December and off the track since, but was set to go close until falling two out when making his UK debut at Chepstow in October. Cornish Sett 3.30 @11.0 Each Way VC Bet Lost his way after a promising reappearance last season but without blinkers the last twice (all three chase wins have come in headgear) and should get strong pace that suits. Nosler 4.05 @2.50 Paddypower Has been off the track since February 2007 but that effort in a bumper suggested he would have little trouble finding a race or two. Conflictofinterest 4.35 @1.73 VC Bet Related to some decent sorts, most notably prolific winner Ring The Boss, and opened account from front in Ayr bumper in April; first time tongue tie for hurdles debut is slight concern but entitled to maximum respect. :ok

Spooner
Re: Wincanton 26/10/2008 15:30 - Hermano Cordobes Ran well last time out finishing 2nd behind Nicholls runner Herecomesthetruth at Chepstow despite the worrying drift before the odd, Stepping up in trip which will suit. Has decent form in this company, He should run well today and looks worthy favourite. @ 3/1 William Hill
mileni4uk
Re: Wincanton 26/10/2008 2.55 - Alfadora E/W Backed him last time and he ran very well after a long break. Tired in the end, but still won and was never going to be caught. The fav here is very short and after two quick wins, he may find this too soon. Alfadora will be thereabouts and with 4 places paid is definitely worth an e/w punt. 17/2 @ VC
mattmcandrew
Re: Wincanton 26/10/2008 2:55 Charles Street has way the best current form of this lost, but I don't have it in me to back an 11/8 shot in a 21 horse race. The rest are really quite hopeless on the face of it, but some do make for decent each-way shouts. The one that stands out most is Loulou Nivernais who in all likelihood would prefer to be chasing on softer ground, but connections persist with the hurdles and he'll have a decent enough chance as he's dropped out to a mark of 95 with a 7lb claimer aboard and he's shown plenty of ability on previous chasing form to suggest this pretty poor race isn't beyond him at a very good price. By far the best each-way option in this race. 40/1 with William Hill.
