2.50 Plumpton - Mister Sher Yard had two winners yesterday and Andrew Thornton will ride this one for the first time. Hasn't shown much, but as a 9yo is still lighly raced. 3rd and 2nd in handicaps on good ground read well. The last time at Exeter he was against some very decent sorts, who have been winning races lately. Especially Cullahill, who won a novice hurdle and was looking the likely winner before brought down on Saturday in a very competitive race at Cheltenham. There are certain doubts about the others here and at 6/1 this looks a nice value. 6/1 @ Betfred, William Hill

Re: Plumpton ~ Mon 20/10/08 2.20 Carmond Ap McCoy and Brendan powell link up here, and this one looks to have good claims in an average race. He was better than a lot of these on the level, and achieved a rating of 75 after just the 2 runs. He was bought for jumping though, and made a good enough debut last time at Fontwell in what was a decent enough race. To give you an idea of how good the race was, the winner has a rating of 126, the 2nd 112 and the 3rd is also rated 126. Carmond was only a few lengths back that day and should go very close today. At 11/4, he looks a good bet for the champion jockey. 11/4 StanJames 2.20 Morning Heights I would keep an eye on this one as well in the same race for Emma Lavelle. She is in cracking form and this one could improve to go close. Huge price. 20/1 William Hill :hope:ok
