Scuffle – I have had quite a bit of luck drawing winners from her maiden at Nottingham. She scored cosily that day by two and a half lengths from Crystal Capella, and Sir Michael Stoute’s filly has been a revelation since, picking up wins in a maiden, handicap and then two listed races. The 3rd PersianSea too has proved a horse worth following and picked up two handicaps off 82 and then off 85 at Pontefract when he won with quite a bit in hand. Following her maiden success Scuffle stepped into a handicap at Nottingham and beat Lindelaan by a nose before notching a hat-trick with a win at Salisbury off 92. She didn’t beat much but she got the job done easily and the 2nd did actually win NTO (albeit in a lesser race than what Scuffle contests here). She is now rated 100 so connections had little option other than stepping her up from handicaps, and given Crystal Capella has proven successful at this level I think Scuffle is worth following too.
