Re: Newcastle Circus Casino Team Tournament - Sat Dec 6th Payment and Players Needed I think myself, morls and uber are going to the newc match which will be fin for about 5ish and then we'll be going straight to the casino from there so will be in circus from about 5.30ish onwards. :ok A good piss-up after in newc would be nice but will be hard when we will still all be in the competition til about 2/3am ;)

Christ i'll have to listen to a load of whinging mags after their latest defeat!(we've got Man Utd away so i expect to lose by 6!) ;)

Re: Newcastle Circus Casino Team Tournament - Sat Dec 6th Payment and Players Needed Rules for team game • All players/teams must be registered by 7.30pm. • The game will be a £30 Freezeout (£30 + £3 entry per person) • Each team will be made up of 10 players. • There will be 10 teams max. • The tournament will start at 8pm. • The tournament will be a shootout format. • There will be one player off each team on each table. This will be drawn by hand between 7.30 and 8pm. • The game will be based on a points system. The team with the most points will be the winners. • During round one the players will receive 5000 chips and the clock will be 20 minutes per level. • The points for the first round will be as follows; First player off a table = 1 point Second player off a table = 2 points Third player off a table = 3 points Fourth player off a table = 4 points Fifth player off a table = 5 points Sixth player off a table = 6 points Seventh player off a table = 7 points Eighth player off a table = 8 points The two remaining players = 10 points each • There will be two tables of 10 for round two. • The seats will be drawn by hand to ensure that one table is not made up of player from one team. It will be as fair as possible. • The tables will play in a shootout format. • The top five players off each table will go to the final table. • The final table will be 10 handed. • The points for round two will be as follows; First player off a table = 5 points Second player off a table = 6 points Third player off a table = 7 points Forth player off a table = 8 points Fifth player off a table = 9 points • All players that reach the final table will receive 10 points. • The points for the final table will be as follows; 10th place = 3 points 9th place=4 points 8th place = 5 points 7th place = 6 points 6th place = 7 points 5th place = 8 points 4th place = 10points 3rd place = 12 points 2nd place = 15 points 1st place = 20 points • One member of each team will be a bounty player. The player that knocks out the bounty player will receive 2 points for their team. The bounty players will remain anonymous until they are knocked out. • 90% paid to the winning team. 10% paid to the overall best player • At a showdown all cards must be shown. • No mobile phones at the table. • The house reserves the right to look at a players hole cards in pots involving two or more players on the same team. • The house reserves the right to change these rules at any time. We will have minimum of 3 dealers for the Team game. These dealers will be rotated fairly during the course of the tournament. Structures Round One 5000 chips 20 minute clock starting at 25/50 Round Two 5000 chips 25 minute clock starting at 50/100 Final Table 10000 chips 25 minute clock starting at 100/200 Head-hunter game £10 entry (£5 for the pot, £5 for the head-hunter) First,Second and Third paid The top five bounty winners will get points for their team. 3000 chips 15 minute clock starting at 50/100

So in theory Player A could qualify from one table with 48000 chips, and Player B with 2000 chips, and both would start round 2 on level footing?

So best to view the structure as each round being a satellite to the next round. Could be important when deciding on how to play if down to final 3 in first round or final 6 in 2nd round
Thats how i was reading it as well. Hope all the lads travelling for this can make it,its bleaching down with snow up here. Just been checking my paypal Morls,i don't think i included the +£3 in my payment.Remind me on at the game as my memory is shot!!

apparently you dont need to register at casinos now, you can just go in, you can also join as a member. some rule is you can only bet upto £200 if ur not a member worth taking id anyway
