4.30 Ascot - Mawatheeq WIN (2.84 Betfair) Lost its maiden tag at first time of asking on turg LTO quite comfortably and has a top pedigree. This was over a mile on Gd-Fm too. Could poentially make a mockery of this mark on first handicap outing. The form of that maiden has worked out well too with the third winning well. Trainer on form too, the favourite has won this race on the last two runs and looks a good thing.

A bit flat on first start but then won at ling over 10f before a very interesting run here at the royal meet. in a group 2. Eventually finished 5 and beaten some way by Michita but that doesnt tell the whole story. She travelled so well that day, a couple of furlongs out she was travelling really as well as anything and remember thats at a group 2 level, then she appeared to get caught for room, perhaps suffering a slight bump and she could never really recover and ended fifth but as I say that run was noteworthy in my book as she suggested she was capable of achieving something with the way she travelled in that company. After that she attempted to make all in a listed race but couldnt although she still plugged away into sixth. I just feel that a return to the surface of her group 2 run, which I rate better than the bare form suggests, could see her go close at a price.
