Kempton 7.20 Aladdin's Lamp had shown promise in a couple of maidens prior to making her handicap debut at Leicester last week. She had finished 3rd to Cook's Endeavour and Nasri on her Leicester debut and both of those rivals had run well since (Nasri, 5 lengths infront of her, scored on his handicap debut off 83). The form of her 3rd in an Ayr maiden looked ok too, as the second won a maiden NTO. She made her handicap debut over this distance at Leicester off a mark of 62 and if truth be told she was very unlucky not to win. She travelled well and looked like the winner from quite a way out, but Chris Wall's Nizhoni Dancer just got up late on to mug her on the line. As a result, she runs off 62 again here and if she runs as well here after a 9 day rest she should go well given that Nizhoni Dancer was rated 70 and infact had been closely matched with a pair at Yarmouth that have recently won handicaps off 78 and 79.
