Folkestone 2.50 I'm off to nursery again tomorrow for my BBOTD in the 2.50. 11 runners are set to go to post for this class 6 sprint over 5 furlongs and the one that that is of obvious interest is Caledonia Princess, who won the nursery at Leicester this afternoon by a decent margin. Proving the run today hasn't taken too much out of her she remains on an attractive mark and as of yet a possible penalty for her win today has not yet appeared on the Sporting Life racecard (not sure whether it will or not?). Paul Blockley's filly was let in off a mark of 63 today and beat my selection Norfolk Broads, who was from the inform Mark Johnston stable and will probably be in the 70's when she's reassessed. If she's running off 63 again tomorrow (minus Kevin Ghunowa's 3 lb claim) Caledonia Princess looks well treated given she hammered superior rated rivals today. She proved at Bath that 5f will suit and todays run at Leicester confirmed her ability to go on this ground and from a plum draw she should take all of the beating. Sport Life tissue is 6/1 but can't see her opening at anything as big as that after her win today. Nevertheless, looks the best bet in the race. Hoping for 2/1 in the morning to have a play.

He has shown some promising form on the turf now and is capable of winning this. Ran well on this ground two runs ago when finishing second in a similar sort of race at Catterick. @ SP 14:50 - Caledonia Princess Caledonia Princess ran yesterday winning a class 4 Nursery Handicap at Leicester. She looks to be the pick in this race, This is a class 6, She runs well over this trip and will get the ground fine. Should take this. @ 6/4 Bet365 [b.O.G] 16:20 - Rum Jungle Rum Jungle looks the form pick in this race, The drop back in trip today should suit well as his only win came over 7f. Jockey McDonald is 1/1 on this horse. Looks to be a solid e/w bet to nothing. @ 5/1 Bet365 [b.O.G] 17:20 - Free Offer Free Offer can bounce back to winning ways today, She disappointed last time out when beating favourite at this course but is a c&d winner at Folkestone in the past. She should handle the ground well and this is her favourite trip. This looks an open sort of race and she should run well. @ 10/1 Bet365 [b.O.G]
