240 Hamilton - Foreign Rhythm f/c 16/1 The Racing Post doesnt like this ones chances but I think its got an outside chance with conditions in its favour. Form on ground softer than good reads 2202184. If we filter that down to 5f, it reads 22214. The 4th was a respectable run where the 3rd has run well in defeat twice since, and the first 2 ran from notoriously difficult low draws at Beverley. His last winning mark was 53, and subsequently struggled a bit after being raised to 60. He gets in here off 52 and from a good draw can run well at a decent each way price. 410 Hamilton - Doon Haymer f/c 4/1 The form of this ones last race is looking good, he finished 2nd with the front 3 finishing 3 lengths clear of the rest. It is significant that the 3rd has won since and the winner has also won since, following up easily by 3 3/4 lengths. Doon Haymers form on ground softer than good in class 5 is 3212 and he is on a very attractive mark of 70, the same he raced off in the aforementioned race.

Re: Hamilton 22/9 3:10 Prescription might take some beating and I've watched her soft ground debut a couple of times. She really seemed to struggle with it, whether she ran green or not. Unfortunately most of the each way appeal has been taken out of this race with there only being 7 runners. There are some excellent soft ground performers in this field and if Prescription can't handle it, the most likely winner looks like Swift Princess who has run well several times in similar conditions or Sudden Impact who is back on a testing 6f, conditions that should suit.
