3.40 The big race on the card, this group 3 race over 10 furlongs. Bankable looks to have the strongest form, having finished only a length behind Raven's Pass last time out (and well clear of the remainder). That rival is proven at the very highest level and there isn't anything as strong in the field here for this Group 3. He's proven at the track having won over a mile here in May in a listed race, incidentally, that was on soft ground (as faced today) too. He's not yet won beyond listed races but came close to registering a first pattern success LTO in that Grp 2 when he found only Raven's Pass too good. However, he's as short as 4/6 here so I'm looking for an each-way steal. Lady Deauville could fit the bill. I put her up on here for her last run at Bath, when she won a listed race over a mile. She has shown her ability over further though too, and won over this trip at Salisbury, also in a listed race, prior to that as well. There is no question she acts with cut in the ground and although she too is yet to win a pattern race, she is clearly on the upgrade and looks a sensible EW alternative at 9/2 SkyBet.

Reasoning	A short price but a worthy odds on favourite imo. Best horse in the race, Finished 1L behind Raven's Pass in a group 2 last time out which is great form. Was hot favourite at Ascot a couple of runs ago in the Royal Hunt Cup ended up finishing 5th which is still good form. Should love this ground today won at Goodwood on this soft ground before. 100% win.
