Poker Stakings Rules - please read before requesting a stake

We dont want to bog people down and discourage members from attempting a stake request or a share deal, however there are a few house rules that we all need to follow in order to make this forum work. All staking sites are in reality run on trust just as sites such as Ebay are. Before you select players for your stakes do a little research on the player and check their previous history on Punterslounge. If a player contacts you by chat or email or even at a poker site do not stake them or lend them any funds and ask them to post up their stake/share deal on here instead for all to see. 1. You must be an established member of Punterslounge before posting up a staking/share deal, with either 6 months worth of active membership. 2. Members must have 100 posts minimum and must email PL with a current form of ID (i.e. driving license). 3. Members who have 250+ posts do not need to email their ID. 4. Punters Lounge moderators will moderate the stakings and decide if they can be posted in the open forum. This is free advice on whether it is regarded as a good/bad deal, but Punters Lounge is not liable whatsoever on the agreement that is made. 5. Once a staking/share deal is accepted for posting, the agreement will be between the player requesting a stake and anyone who wishes to stake the player. 6. Punterslounge.com will act only as a hosting for the stake/share deals and will not be held liable in any shape or form once the agreement has been made between the parties involved. 7. Although PL has no liability over any deal made on the forum, we will take a dim view of anyone who is found to breach any contract made in good faith with another member, and if the breach is proven beyond doubt the member will be banned from the PL forum. 8. We also advise that any player who hasn't paid up to their stakers within the specified period will be barred from any PL promotions (and receiving any added value) until the contract has been fulfilled

Re: Poker Stakings Rules - please read before requesting a stake Exchange Rates update: If players are wanting to send payment via fulltilt or pokerstars who work in dollars, the exchange rates will vary from day to day, so please confirm any payments in advance with each other so that theres no confusion Neteller payments: If you send/request the payment via neteller, the recipient will face a charge, again, make sure you both agree on this before any transfer takes place!

Re: Poker Stakings Rules - please read before requesting a stake Timing of Stakes suggestion Another idea to help stakers has been raised and I beleive this is a good one for us all to listen to. If at all possible, can players requesting a stake give a weeks notice in order to give yourself a good chance of selling out, simple really, the more time we have, the more likely it is you'll sell out! This does not necessarily need a rule, just a suggestion to help us all
