keliot
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Yeah nothing grabs me in this round and I'd prefer to see how things play out. But on the ladies side I've taken a few outsider outrights, the main one being Wozniacki @ 38.00 who could go deep and it seems that a few of the favourites have injuries or form problems. I'm hoping she smashes Sfar good in the 1st. :hope

WinningTipster
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Hi guys, the following bet for Olympics: WTA TOUR, OLYMPICS ZHENG TO D SZAVAY @ 1.51 at pinnacle Szavay has huge potential (much more than Zheng) but is lacking any consistency. Zheng defeated Szavay very easy at Wimbledon 3 weeks ago and with home crowd support must be a favorite.

Mr Intensity
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Just got 2.20 on Nestor/Niemeyer against Murray/Murray. This is a good doubles team and Andy might struggle in the conditions after a tough loss earlier. Nestor to dominate.

Pit026
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Caroline WOZNIACKI @ 2,37 bet365 - Caroline is now in really good shape! It seems she feels nice in Asia :D Her last match against Hantuchova, though not in blood-shape so far, convinced me to take it. I saw some recent matches and especially that against Radwańska showed how much talented player Caroline is. Of course, Elena is always very demanding player to pass her through but I think that her 'Asian Voyage' will end 2morrow :loon
Mr Intensity
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August SIMON @ 2.37 Will Hill. This looks a pretty obvious play to me, especially at this price. H2H is 1-0 to Blake just a couple of weeks ago in Cincinatti, but that was after Simon had a couple of really tough weeks and we all know Blake is at his best in the US. Bottom line is Simon is in cracking form, and he's continued that here beating Soderling and Canas comfortably. Blake has been poor the past few months, and losing quite a few matches you'd expect him to win. He doesn't have the edge and the destructive game he had a couple of years ago, and I really expect Simon to grind this out. Blake struggled past Hrbaty in the last round and that doesn't look good on paper. LU @ 2.37 Will Hill. Lu has been really good this tournament. He was excellent against Murray and backed it up with a solid win over Calleri. He seems to be inspired playing in this part of the world and I think he'll come through this one. Melzer had a very tough win over Daniel, then a very good win over Wawrinka, but looking at the scoreline it seems like the Swiss had a problem. I find it really hard to trust Melzer as a fav, and I don't like him in this one. KIEFER @ 1.83 Stan James. Since Hamburg Kiefer has been playing really well, and I fancy him to come through this. He had a tight match against Anderson, but the young South Africa can be very good on hard courts. I like Kiefer in the big situations, and I fancy him for a good run here. Mathieu was having a poor run coming into this tournament, but has got good wins over Lapentti and Davydenko. Davydenko has been struggling lately and has made some very negative comments, so not sure how much to read into that result. If this gets tight, I know who I'd rather be on. Mr Intensity
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August ZHENG @ 4.5 Sportingbet. For those who don't remember Zheng she is the Chinese girl who made it to the semis of Wimbledon. She hasn't played since and perhaps needed a break with her troublesome ankle that has blighted her career so far. She's struggled a bit so far needing 3 sets in both her matches which is a bit of a worry. However, she'll have massive support here and the Chinese athletes are really stepping up so far. Safina is in stunning form, since Berlin at the start of May she is 30-3! However, a couple of her losses were really unexpected, against Tanasugarn and Peer on grass where she showed quite a lot of the Safin temprament. This will be a tough atmosphere for her and perhaps she won't handle it too well. Zheng has the game to be effective here and all things considered I think this is a pretty big price. Abbo22
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Berdych 7.0 @ Bodog This price is nuts considering Federers recent form. I watched his match vs. Arevalo and he was spraying the forehand once again and dumping volleys into the net against the world number 441. Berdych had a solid win over Seppi who hes had trouble w. in the past. And of course Berdych took out Fed at the last Olympics when Fed was in his prime. Excellent price here to take a shot. play2win
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Quite like the dogs today.... Hard to pin point with sureity who will win so better to lay all favourites and hope that atleast a couple of them lose. Laying NADAL @ 1.09 against IGOR looks very good for the simple reason that IGOR has been is very good form the last couple of months. He is like a fast court specialist. Also dont think NAdAL is liking this mens doubles and singles workout just before the US OPEN. And the best way to put an end to this misery is to lose. Laying FEDERER @ 1.15 against BERDYCH, a guy who took him out last time. Who likes to play with energy for 2-3 sets. Not grand slams. Laying JANKOVIC @ 1.60 against CHIBULKOVA, who has been in great form. Also jankovic has been just scratching through matches and waiting for some one to put an end to her. She has not had any good oponents so far. Last match against Alona, they kept exchanging breaks for fun. Almost all games on jankovic serve, started with 0-15 0-30 score. Laying Diementiva @ 1.78 against WOZNAICKI. Not gonna give reasons for this. For the simple reason that I am on her as a WINNER @ 35. All rates are from betfair. Also like a lot of lays in mens doubles where the big names are favs against good doubles teams. So enjoy ........ LAY ON. Mr. Intensity......... Been following ur bets for quite sometime now. Maybe I'm the one who's jinxed you :unsure Tighten up.......... u need to get on a winning streak.
keliot
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Cibulkova @ 2.6. Jankovic is just not fit enough to deal with talented in form players like the wee Slovakian and the conditions are tough. I expect that she'll end the match completely exhausted. If she gets a good start like she did in Montreal I'll happily put a bit more on Cibulkova in play. :hope Wozniacki on. Gwan Caro!

bet_man
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August Safina - Jankovic i do not know why the odds on Safina is too high.Safina is playing the best tennis of her career.Jankovic is number 1 at wta rankings. But she hasn't beaten top players this year. Also Safina, beat jankovic this year at hard court. If Jankovic does not improve her service , she can not beat top players. Also , she has little injury from last week.Safina is banker at this match. Safina to beat Jankovic @1.
Mr Intensity
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August LI NA @ 4.64 Pinnacle. Another Chinese girl worth a shot. I really like Li Na, and hae done pretty well backing her in the past. She's had injury problems and struggled to recapture her old form this year, but this week has looked pretty good. She was very strong against Kuznetsova in the first round and if she can play like that then she has a real chance. Obviously Venus is a big favourite, and has crushed her opponents so far, however, I'm not too sure. She always performs at Wimbledon, but otherwise she's just not a dominant force anymore. That was her first title of the year, and I don't think justifies a price as short as this against a dangerous opponent.

Mr Intensity
Re: Tennis: Olympics & ATP Washington 10th - 17th August DEVVARMAN @ 2.17 Pinnacle. Defiantely siding with Devvarman as the dog here. He played a lot of college tennis at the University of Virginia which is close to this tournament, so he should get a decent college crowd supporting him here. I think he's recently decided to go full time pro and won a challenger in Lexington a few weeks go - he came through qualifying in that tournament, got good wins over Reynolds and Stoppini before beating todays opponent Kendrick pretty comfortably in the final. He camethrough qualifying here and won a 3 setter against Dent in the first round, and I fancy him here. Kendrick did well to come through qualifying here and beat Lopez in the first round - but the Spaniards confidence seems shot at the moment. He looks to be playing well, but so is Devvarman and I like the price on the Indian.
