5.45 Difficult to ignore Sir Mark Prescott's record at this track. Doesnt bring many 2yo's here & 2 from 3 have won in the last 5 years. Runs Florentia here (priced at 11/1 Skybet). Breeding shows the horse will no doubt stay further than this 5f, however its a stiff 5f, so may be running on at the end. Only 7 run so only 2 places to aim at. 7.55 A friend of mine always said, dont write off Terry Mills when he brings 1 horse to Sandown. His record with older horses is better but at 40/1 Pegasus again will carry a couple of pound of my hard earned. Dropping in the weights now & upped in trip which may help.

Re: Sandown (eve)7th Aug In the lucky last only nine go to post and i give an e/w chance to 50/1 shot SPEAR THISTLE. Poor over the jumps last year but a winner on the flat for John Gosden over a mile. Put but back over the flat just may bring a spark.
