2.00 A 9 runner maiden which badly lacks depth. Although she has had 12 chances to score Romantic Destiny has by far the best form on offfer. She looked consistent on her first four starts before two below par runs. She was fitted with blinkers for her 7th start when she was highly tried in the Lowther. She was lit up in the blinkers, led and was probably flattered by her 6th finishing position beaten less than 3l. Ran poor in the blinkers on her final two starts last year. Without them she has run well in three maidens this year that were much better class than this. Haven't got time to go through them but she has run with many future winners in those three maidens. Will give Hydrophonic another chance after flopping on the dirt LTO. Debut runs was encouraging. Romantic Destiny 80% of stake 2.58 Hydrophonic 10% of stake EW 15 & 2.62

Re: Thirsk 25/07/08 :nana 1-2 Winner was 20/1 in running! The 5/4 fav (at time of posting) totally ignored and was out the frame. £12 exacta I think too. Good start. ;)
