What are people's opinions on Hotham in the 8 pm? Backed this each way at long odds at York a few months ago and he was narrowly beaten. He's been upped in grade several times since but continued to run well. Only went down by a neck in a class 3 race at Ponte LTO but drops down from class 5 to class 3 level and runs off the same mark. He'll go on the ground and I'm a fan of the jockey but I have slight reservations about backing him because of the draw. For this 5f sprint he's in stall 1 - which couldn't get any worse!

Re: Beverley ~ Mon 21/7/08 my best bet of the day would be to oppose micky mac 730 bev. rp sp 4-1. won last time and in good form, but this race is testing for all and i doubt he will get the same sort of trip as last time. several others appear better weighted and have a better make up, therefore at 4-1 sp has to be opposed.
