8.30 Brave Bugsy - CD winner here two runs ago but struggled when upped in class LTO. Drops back to class 6 here and is only 4 lbs above previous winning mark. The form of his CD win has worked out quite well with second racking up 3 wins from his next four runs, shooting up to a rating of 71 (+9 lbs) in the process. Will go on the ground and proven to stay.

Re: Bath 17/7/08 The 6:20 is really odd. It's difficult to rule out of any of them to be honest, apart from Speak The Truth who struggled on his one previous turf outing, but it was over an extra furlong. Fault has had a two month break. He's previously had two races at Windsor, both over 5f. The first was on good to soft and he won with a little to spare it seemed. The second was on good to firm in which he really, really struggled. So it's fair to say the ground is key for this horse. Sonhador was 6 lengths back from Lang's Lash on his debut and we've all seen where Lang's Lash has gone from there. So for that reason Sonhador cannot be ruled out. But getting short of time...it might be worth it to take a shot with Bethie, who showed vast improvement on firm ground LTO and the going now is good, good to firm in places.. She has drifted out to 33/1 however, so...there must be a reason for that. But I will still have a bit E/W.
