4.35 Opal Noir is a recent course and distance winner, but struggled when the handicapper raised him 6 lbs for his next two runs. However, he has been eased 2 lbs and the presence of Neil Brown in the saddle, who claims 3 lbs, means he is effectively only 1 lb higher than his latest winning mark. He put in a good effort for this jockey on the only other previous time they were paired, at Hamilton in May when he finished a 0.75 4th of 14 when sent off at 25/1. 20/1 widely available here.

2.20 Paddy Bear will be poplular with the punters and should run a big race for connections to improve on his 3rd last time out, What A Fella in my opinion has a better chance, like Paddy Bear has placed in a better class event at a higher weight and has had more races to improve on. What A Fella 2 Point Win. 2.50 Very open race with the top three being the ones to concentrate on Harry Up should be up there at the finish on previous form, Fire Up the Band who has been around for ages and has ran in some good company should make his presence felt, Kings College Boy hasnt won that many races over Going & Distance but has had races at this track and finished 2nd on a couple of occassions. Advice All 3 of they above used for *forecast, Tricast & Tote swinger purposes*. Kings College Boy E/W if price is not below 5/1. 3.25 Johnny Friendly has decent form but could have a few problems with the weight, But still a big player in this race, Mganga could be worth another go baring in mind he has won in a Class 6 event carrying 7lbs lower weight. Advice Johnny Friendly 1 Point Win Mganga 1 Point E/W. 4.00 Wells Lyrical looks the choice in this one who has been knocking on the door recently and has taken part in bigger races. Advice Wells Lyrical 1 Point Win. 4.35 Grazeon Gold Blend has had a 2nd in a Class 3 Event but has had a lot of weight lumped onto him for that reason so question marks to whether he will be able to cope, Katie Boo has got a great opportunity to place on her recent form. Advice Grazeon Gold Blend 1 Point Win Katie Boo 1 Point E/W. 5.10 High Reach could place but again hasnt had much luck with the handicapper (Seb Saunders should be a plus), Paddy Jack has a good chance to improve on his second places and could go one better.
