2.10 The fav has never seen a racecourse before so happy to look elsewhere for a bet. Mick Channon's Lahaleeb raced here on her debut. She was slowly away but made moderate late headway after the penny dropped. Not fantastic form admittedly, but of those trainers in this race, Channon has one of the better records here. 2.45 Tableau Vivant has been knocking on the door and ran well enough over this distance LTO at Bev. However, at 1/2 I can't back it after getting stung on short priced stablemate Heritage Coast earlier in the week. An each way alternative could be Deira Dubai (EW), who only went down by a head LTO over this trip at Salisbury.

Re: Folkestone 10/7/08 YORK CLIFF 3.20 Folkestone. 0.5 points each way. Wouldn't be a first choice on recent efforts, but when looking how the race makes up then you can fancy him. Trip and ground should be fine and should get the race run to suit, so therefore should be staying on well and get into the battle for the line. Ability to go through with a winning run is a bit of a question, but 'if' tactics are correct by jockey Liam Jones, then he should go well at a decent price.
