Re: Southwell (Evening) ~ Tue 8 July 7.40 Favs do well in AW claimers with a S/R of about 50 % and more often than not carry one of the top three weights in the race. The Last Bottle falls is the fav and carries second top weight. Still a maiden but has run well enough in handicaps on the AW, finishing second off 64 at Wolv last month over 9f so he should see out the trip (8f) here. He has also ran well in a class 4 race before (rated 64) so doesn't have to find as much improvement as some of his other rivals who have been running in lower grade races. 3/1 VC Bet 8.10 To Bubbles ran well enough LTO here over further to suggest she acts on the fibresand and the drop back in trip should suit on the form of that run when she was headed well inside the final furlong. Neil Brown is worth his 5 lb claim in my opinion too. 10/11 Blue Sq
