Reasoning	Been running with credit of late with his last 2 runs coming over 10 furlongs when going close in both. Ran well in a hot handicap (for the grade) at Sandown last season when finishing 4th, beaten just over 2L. This contest doesn't look too hot tonight and there could well be more to come from Clive Coxs' gelding now that he steps upto 12 furlongs for the first time. The way he has been finishing his races over 10 furlongs suggest the step up will suit and Clive Cox and Philip Robinson should always be watched when teaming up. Robinson has a 32% strike rate at Ripon over the years whereas Clive Cox has had just 2 runners over the past few seasons resulting in 1 winner. Its interesting he sends one on the long journey tonight and the booking of Philip Robinson catches my eye even more.
