Situated in the shadow of historic Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse hosts both Flat and Jump racing meetings throughout the year. The £2.2m redevelopment has recently been completed, including 1707 restaurant which affords superb views over the course. Subsequently the parade ring has been enlarged to incorporate a new winners' enclosure and the jockeys' changing rooms, weighing room and stewrds' room have been relocated into the ground floor of the Paddock building. Finally, a new marquee area has been created between the owners and trainers entrance and the Paddock building. Todays fixtures in here.:ok

Re: Warwick 04/07/08 3.45 Cosmic Destiny - consistent horse who ran well off 69 LTO, just falling short as he was caught at the post, going down by a s.h. Didn't get a clear run on his previous run, also at Brighton, but managed 3rd (btn 1.5 l). Will go on the ground and has run well at this level in the past. 4/1 The two dangers could be Overwing and Nomoreblondes. Overwing has been running well in class 5 races too, but has been put up another 1 lb even though he finished 1.75 back in second LTO and he is now 8 lbs above his last winning mark (did win off 70 two years ago though). 3/1 Nomoreblondes is another that could threaten. She won a class 5 race at Newcastle last season and although ran poorly at Beverley on her reappearance, may have needed the run and was not drawn ideally for that course. She showed more promise to take 5th at Carlisle last month and is eased 1 lb in the handicap. 7/2
