Redcar 03/07/08

Recommended Posts

Redcar is Yorkshire's seaside racecourse with a history of racing stretching back to 1872 when races were held on the nearby beaches. This Flat racing course has really come to prominence in recent years and has been extensively renovated. The main Grandstand now features an upper floor restaurant with terraced viewing and the Paddock Stand is a bespoke facility for corporate hospitality. Todays fixtures in here.:ok

Re: Redcar 03/07/08 7.45 Whatever Inspector Clouseau did well at two over 7f, his 2nd to Alexander Castle (rated 109) reads very well, ne won his final start and started the season on a fair mark of 76. He looked sure to improve when upped in trip at three. He made his debut over a mile and was 2nd to Summon Up The Blood (an easy winner since off a 6lb higher mark). He was stepped up to 10f LTO, a trip much more to his liking. He was 2nd in a muddling race at York. I backed him at fair odds. The 4th bolted up at Windsor on Sunday and IC is still well handicapped on just a 2lb higher mark. Micky Fenton prefers to go to Newbury but IC looks like a winner waiting to happen in this sort of handicap. Inspector Clouseau 100% of stake
