Re: My HU Hand history I think when your low on chips some of your decisions are wrong, I tend to use the SAGE system when I get low and its effective in the HU sit and goes I play, although the calling from the BB bit does depend on how frequently your opponent pushes. If you google you will find articles on it. So these hands I play differently to you: 1136209889 SB/Button Qh4h 2000/4000 400 Ante 21,178 88,322 I folded Should be a shove, you have 5.3 BBs and by SAGE Q4s is an easy push 1136210507 SB/Button Tc9s 2000/4000 400 Ante 23,178 86,322 I complete, Opponent goes all in, I fold Dunno why you are completing with 5.8 BBs again this is an easy shove by SAGE. The J6o is also a shove, and then the 97o at the end is a marginal shove but a possible fold.

Re: My HU Hand history Wow you folded way too much imo. I'd have just limp raised to you every time and bet out on different streets depending on the boards to take the pots away, even bluffing big vs you on later st. if the texture was good knowing that you're playing v tight.

If he calls you probably have to give up. 1136208608 BB Qs3c 2000/4000 400 Ante 25,578 83,922 Opponent Completes, I check, flop 7s7c7d, I check, Opponent goes all in This hand I think you could possibly open-push the flop yourself as again he's probably not limping a pair, a K or an A. And you can conceivably have a K here. Not saying you should play them like this though, just a suggestion with hindsight.

Each card has a ‘power number’ according to its pips with J=11, Q=12, K=13 and A=15 2. Double the power number of your highest card and add the power number of your lower card 3. Add 22 for a pocket pair 4. Add 2 if they’re suited 5. Divide the short stack by the big blind to get the ratio ® 6. Refer your PI to the chart below. Push all-in or call all-in if your PI is equal to the number or higher, according to the stack ratio

Ok - this is the full summary.... in general, I'm reasonably happy with the way I played most hands :unsure

Opponent completes, I check, Flop XxXxXx, I check, Opponent bets, I fold

You let him in cheap far too often, and that was 'knowing' that he was going to bet 90% of the time. If I had been the oppo, you would have played with much more confidence and you'd have mixed it up more. In fact, to me the comment that you've made more than once explains your play, and that is;

Almost certainly :$ Given the frequency that he was overbetting all in, is there no argument for a bit of patience and passivity to wait for the right spot to get it all in? Heads Up you can win by taking down lots of small pots or a few big ones - was this situation not sited to looking to win a few big pots?

It seemed to me that he was the only one doing that on both counts. I think that sometimes you have to look for reads in players HU actions. How I read his play was he wasn't going to let you have your BB uncontested that often. He would bet almost every single flop to see if you had anything of it, but if he had a lot of it he would go all in. I would have counteracted his pre flop passivity and post flop aggression by asking more questions pre flop... Btw, I'm refusing to read the HH. I don't think they have any relevance to the point I'm trying to make. You lost a game of HU poker to a very predictable player purely because of your lack of interest in the game.
