Your Notes: As usual over 5f on fast ground at Beverley, we are looking for a high draw. One that stands out for me in Canadian Danehill who has shown noticeable improvement over the last 2 seasons. After starting his domestic season with a good win at Southwell, he has struggled to make an impression of a mark of 95 in some Class 2 races that look tougher than this one. Down 2lb’s here and with a 5lb amateur well worth his allowance, the burden will be somewhat eased in this Class 3 race. The firmer ground will be welcome too – he has never won on soft. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him bounce back here.
