Didn't think I'd get back on line tonight - but luckily all is fine with laptop/connection as I type. 7.30 Seller The best two at the weight are Sargeant Sharpe and Red Rouge. Sargeant Sharpe ran below his rating in a claimer LTO and I'm not sure how accurate his mark of 68 is. Will be more at home over this trip but I rarely back Mark Tompkins horses so he is overlooked. We learnt nothing from Red Rouge's first two starts. She was totally outclassed and was well beaten on both starts. Was more at home LTO when dropped to claiming level and run her best race to date. She ran close to her mark on that run - she is accurately assessed. The 4th won a claimer NTO and she has a 16lb pull with the winner (Sabre Light) who runs here, for under 3l. Tinkler does well here and has been among the winners lately. Secret Meaning ran well against his elders LTO and looks best of the experienced runners. Pure Inspriation hasn't run any worse than expected on her two starts and she is a bit on an unknown quantity. Re: Yarmouth 17/06/08 The 7.30 was a farce - no pace, they were even walking at the 2 pole. 8.00 I cannot believe the price Hasty Retreat is in this. I know he won easy LTO but 8/11 is a ridiculous price. I backed Haasem LTO saying that if he ever showed anything like his early form last season then he is a winner waiting to happen. He obviously isn't as good as he was 14 or so months ago but he does have some ability and he should find a handicap in the grade. Affrettando took my eye LTO and I thought he'd be worth a try at a mile. Definitely well handicapped on his maiden form and Toller's have been running well. 59 days since last run however and was pulled out at Lingfield on Derby Day, maybe due to quick ground?
