8.00 Goodwood Goodwood Starlight put in a much improved effort LTO. Well handicapped on his maiden and nursey win here. Did well to win over a 7f trip FTO and had Stubbs Art in 3rd and a now 80 horse in 5th. The nursery win come on his 2nd start despite running green and ended his 2yo season unbeaten. He was given no chance on his first start this season behind Bronze Cannon when allowed to race alone at Newmarket. Like I say it was much improved run LTO when he finished 4th here over 1m1f. He didn't get the best of runs but was 4l behind the winner who re-opposes here. Is 5lb better off though. The 2nd won NTO and the 9th was very unlucky NTO. Like many Mtoto colts he isn't totally straight forward but he should appreciate this 2nd try at 1m2f. Goodwood Starlight - win
