Once he found daylight he ran on well and was unlucky not to finish close up to the winner. He has run well off marks much higher than this last year so looks worth a look despite his wide draw. However he won that side easily and trainer was pleased with the performance stating he hopes for a good season. Has slipped to a decent mark now having been competitive in this grade of 5lbs higher last year
