Just a small run down. 8.00 Oaks winning jockey/trainer have Mullien in this and his 4th LTO has worked out well. Looks better than his 74 rating suggests. 3.1 at present on betfair. 8.30 Tipped Grand Vizier on here on his last two starts and he has won them both. Still ahead of the handicapper based on A/W form. Dream Of Fortune ran a cracker LTO at Newmarket and we will a handicap off this mark if his temperement allows. Quaglino Way is interesting for handicaps this year. Dear Maurice is a bit of an unknowm, maiden form only looks ok but has been given a fair mark. Re: Windsor 9/6/08 Totally agree with Mullein BTP. MULLEIN 8.00 WINDSOR This will be run at some pace with the majority of these liking to lead. Mullein likes to race prominently and should be up with the pace. However, she may get taken off her feet early on and she should be able to pick these off as she stays 6 furlongs. The form of her fourth to Harbour Blues looks solid with the third, sixth and eighth subsequently winning and the fifth home was third to the eighth horse when they met again. Monsieur Reynard is up a 1lb for his latest second plus he has never won from 9 attempts and is 0 from 4 off marks 72/73. Another Socket ran in a 0-75 last time carrying 9-4 so may struggle here off this weight. The stable are in the doldrums as McMahon hasn’t had a winner for 30 days from 20 runners. Wise Melody has decent form but has to give weight away. Plus he will be taken on for the lead, so he might not get his own way and his jockey has never ridden a winner here from 21 rides. Haggas has only saddled 4 winners here from 38 runners. Quaroma comes from a yard without a win for 60 days and never saddled a winner here from 13 runners. The other two will struggle but they like to lead so will take on the front runners. Mullein comes from a yard in top form and the way this race should pan out she should be staying on when others are crying enough.
