I dont know what he should do though (and I said that) - it's a really tricky one to deal with..... First thing is - it was a Boss problem - Pokerkings are totally in Boss hands - whilst pokerkings hold ultimate responsability for choice of provider, there was nothing they could do on the night to stop it happening (or freeze the game or anything) - it's all down to boss and presumably the same problems were had on all boss skins we use. So, given that it has happened, and we cannot change that. what should happen? Do you let results stand? We were basically down to final table when it happened, so the right people should get points, albeit the distribution may be wrong. Do you scrap the results and award no points? tough on those who fought their way to the final table but then get no points. DO you split points as per normal payouts for a server crash at the time first person was disconnected? (so something like 50% of points split evenly and 50% split by proportion of chips in play). This might be quite complex to work out and the data might not be available and difficult to obtain. Any other suggested solutions? Try to be objective, not what benefits you or your buddies. Personally I finished 11th, however when i got d/c I had a big enough stack to do damage so i don't really agree with this comment. When I got back in I had 1000 with blinds 300/600 and went out in 10th.
