GaF
I've started listening to the Barry Greenstein Ace on the River Audiobook. (http://www.thepokerbay.org/details.php?id=1879) It's about 5 hours 20 long. I could NEVER read a book that quickly :unsure - do I just read slowly? :unsure Or are audiobooks generally shortened versions? (I dont think I've ever listened to an audiobook before)
slapdash
Re: Barry Greenstein - Ace on the River As far as I remember, it's actually quite a short book once you leave out all the glossy double-page photos.
ubermonkey1
Re: Barry Greenstein - Ace on the River i read very quickly and would be able to manage it in about 5 hrs:ok audiobooks do come in shortened versions but usually it should say abridged version . JackJarvis
Re: Barry Greenstein - Ace on the River I have this and the glossy pics etc do take up alot of space. The content is very good though imo and he discusses life as a professional away from the table aswell, a lot of great reading and although it may not help as much as the Harrington books etc to improve your game, it shows you that the pro poker life is not all easy going.
