Walter Swinburn looks to be coming back into form and his runner here Idesia is interesting. Finished 4^th to the subsequent Pretty Polly winner and although the 2^nd was turned over narrowly at long odds on, I think the form of that Wolverhampton maiden is decent. An E/W bet at 7.6 and 2.1. 4.10

Melodramatic ran a cracker on her debut in the Washington Singer to finish 4^th. That has turned out to be a very decent Listed race and no surprise she was a warm order on her seasonal debut. She was touched off but the run was probably better than first it looked. The winner Danae could be decent and the 10^th won at Goodwood yesterday. The extra furlong here should suit.

I’ve slagged Roger Charlton off once or twice this year but the winners have FINALLY started to come. She was one of the few runners to run well for the yard last month. Will be very hard to beat. I took 1.95 last night on Betfair, now 1.76. Diamond Royal is overpriced at 50.
