I only realised halfway through looking at todays card that some of the races were on turf :$! 3.30 (AW)- Dodaa - I tipped this one up for its last run and it did a proper demolition job of the field by winning by 7 lengths in a 5f handicap! It faces a tougher test today up against the likes of Taboor, Limonia and Bentley who all look to have claims, but you couldn't fail to be impressed with Dodaa's win last time out. It OR has shot up from 56 to 70 now, but with Hamblett on board again claiming the 5 I'm prepared to back this one again today - their form when partnered is 11361121 (all over 5f). 4.05 (turf) - this looks a very weak affair so I'm backing Novestar, who, unlike most of todays rivals, has at least made it into the winners enclosure before. It placed at Wolverhampton on Wednesday over a similar trip off the same mark and could be worth a bet to small stakes. 4.40 (turf) - Another weak race so again I'm backing one that has at least shown an ability to win, Note Perfect. This one has won and placed at the course over this trip on the AW so fingers crossed it runs ok on the turf.

Trainer E J Oneil does well with 2yo horses, has had a good few winners FTO in the past and can see this beast running well today. Sire kheleyef already had a winner this season in Percolator. The likely short priced fav will be worth taking on. M.Bell did have a nice winner in ART CONNISSEUR yesterday, which will reflect in the price of his runner Bahamian babe and my selection should be a bit of value. 2pts Win @ S.P
