Friends Hope 2.50 Musselburgh Back to its optimum trip of 9f where the last 3 runs over this distance have resulted in 221, he's also won at 10f but on GF. Has a good turn of foot in the closing stages over this trip and will be hard to beat. Clear Reef 4.30 Musselburgh If he transfer's his AW form and build on the good 2nd LTO at Southwell to Bentley Brook over 1m6f he can take this at the expense of some that may need the run. The 1-2 both pulled 28L's clear of the rest of the pack, so he's going to be fit after that run 31 days ago but with only 7 races to his name he's open to plenty of improvement with a good quick surface to suit. Johnsons got the upper hand in the 5.00 but which one? Both owned by the Shiek and the tentative vote goes to CLOVIS. Ran green lto to finish 4th after playing up inthe stalls. knowing my luck tho Tourism will fly in :lol Trainer won this 2005 with a 3yr old carring 8-5.

Re: Musselburgh 23/03/08 CHIVOLA - 2.20 MUSSELBURGH Brian Smart should always be respected around here, especially with his 3y/o's. Won a weak maiden well on the a/w in January, was placed over 6F off this mark, the distance didnt suit, this is a 5F horse with lots of speed. Can bang out today and make all the running. Priced around 3/1 LOS NADIS - 4.30 MUSSELBURGH Was tried in Class 3 races twice on the flat last season & wasnt disgraced. Horse has had a good season over jumps running well at this course & winning one. Peter Monteiths yard is in great form which helps at this time of year, has only 8-12 to carry, & could see a much better horse on the level this year, will be fit from jumps starts. available at 9/1 this morning.
