3.15 Harry Wood 7.5 pts e.w or 15 pts win if bigger than 5/1 Has shown a liking for soft/heavy conditions with three wins in those conditions. One of those wins came lto when it stayed on strongly on soft ground and despite a rise meaning it meets the second (Johnson horse) on worse terms it may not be prevnted from defying that. For a start there is the doubt about the Johnson horses still and the form of that race has been boosted by the well beating horses with the third winning and another well beaten being placed next time at 100/1. Trainer still on a decent run too. 4.20 Mister Abbi 7.5 pts e.w or 15 pts win if bigger than 4/1 Progressed a fair bit since last season and handicap mark has risen accordingly but lto it produced arguably a career best in a race where the have been a few in behind run with enough credit ie. lots of plcings if not necessarily lots of winners. Showed again preference for softer ground lto so thats no problem and teh stable have been decent enough the last few weeks.

Re: Carlisle - 6/3/08 3:45 LAERTES - The stable has hit a good patch of form, which really makes a change, as they usually have very few winners. Horse are currently running very well, Laertes has the soft ground that it goes well on, and distance will suit as its a good stayer. First time visor will hopefully sharpen the horse up as it sometimes jumps poorly, has much higher mark over hurdles than fences, if it can jump has an excellent chance just needs to translate runs over hurdles to fences. I would take the 13/2 available this morning as stables runners have been well backed last few weeks. 4:20 - MINSTER ABBI - Loves this ground & hit form this time last year, was a good second in a better race than this last time out. Won by 11L over C&D about a year to the day, is ready to hit form and would be very dissapointing if this wasnt up there at the end. O Sherwood is in cracking form, good jock booked & the best bit - the price 6/1 with sportingbet !!! brilliant value.
