Consistant runner who's placed in the money 5 times in the last 6 outings, with the last 'fav' winning this back in 2002 AbitIrish is opposed, Im willing for forgive his last run as he's reunited with winning Jockey F.Davies who claims 5lb. 7/1 Cheer Us On 3.20 Catterick Blinkers clearly worked LTO when 2nd at Catterick on Good ground over 2m1f. No match for the winner that day 5L's behind but did well to finsh in the money coming from the rear. Runs off the same mark, blinkers kept on with ground and trip to suit, he ticks too many boxes for me. 11/2 Cool Operator 3.50 Catterick 2 Johnson horses line up for this and the vote goes to the 'first string'. 3rd on it's hurdling debut over 2m3f the drop in trip could suit. 5/1

Re: Catterick 05/03/08 2:50 Catterick - SMART MAN - had an awful ride lto, reunited with a decent jockey today who the horse gets on well with, horse is a C&D winner, trainers runners at this course should always be respected, the run last time out was too bad to be true, if it wasnt for that this horse would be fav today - currently 7/1 with Bet365
