kimera
A quick double for me today: Adler Mannheim - Iserlohn Roosters The home team has really picked up their pace surging through the bundesliga table the recent weeks. With extraordinary 10 wins in a row there seems to be nothing that could stop them. Through the streak, they have tended to play some close-up matches, but still wins are collected. Playing at home the stat is 15-3-0-1-4 and only one loss recorded in their last 20 home games, some has gone to OT, but the numbers speaks for itself. Roosters also fight for a top spot in the league though. But by always doing the work needed at home and playing pretty bad when visiting problems arise. Going 6-1-0-2-12 away is not good enough if they want to be a winning team. Form-wise the stat is not that bad, 4 wins in the last 7. The key thing worth mentioning is that in this period they played 4 away games and lost 3 of them. And on top of all, last game thay was demolished by a very weak Straubing 7-0 visiting. Comparing Straubing with the force of Mannheim the difference is big, very big... Leksand - Västeräs Being the supreme masters in allsvenskan, Leksand is almost already the winners of the division. Still Malmö is following 6 pts. behind and they cant let their guard down too much if they want to keep it up. Ric Jackman and MIchal Grosek, both former nhl-players has newly been aquired to boost them towards the qualification to the top division. Both players has struggled a little, slowly getting back to the shape they need to be, but the more games they get, the better. Injury-wise they field their best squad tonight. Which mens that Ed Belfour will be back in net after being sick. For those who not know of him, he is a nhl-legend known most for playing for Chicago Blackhawks. Yes, he is getting older, but he easily hold this level and stand out as the best goalie in the league. Västeräs on the other side fights for the 3rd place at the moment. Their main problem has been when visiting so far this season, going 6-0-2-1-10, which clearly is not enough if they have ambitions for promotion. For today their 1st goalie is out sick, which means their 20-year old back-up will be in net. A major loss in an already somewhat struggling team. Well, they have won the last 3, but when knowing that the level in the division varies heavily I can`t look at those results as much to be reckoned with. The only question in this one will be Leksand motivation towards the game. Still, I believe that when they field their strongest team they should match any team in this division even in a bad day... Pick: Adler Mannheim (1.65) & Leksand (1.50) 2.47 @betsson 4/
