Magdeburg - Drammen The 1st of 2 matches in the cup winners cup going tonight. Magdeburg is placed 9th in bundesliga at the moment getting some good results lately. After lots of economical issues, the team they are in a rebuilding phase. It seems that players has responded well and are ready to get a little break from the hard-fought league they are in. Still, this one is their chance of winning something this year and they won`t relax at all. The key is to get a very good result before the away match next sunday. The main reason I find this one highly interesting is that one of two key players will only be at 80% today. Their playmaker Glenn Solberg struggles with an ankle injury. He will play, but will not be at his best, he might not even play at all. Which is something they need heavily tonight. The norwegian squad played in the CL, made the 3rd place and therefore qualified for this tourney. The lack of european experience is heavily noted in the squad. Only the mentioned Solberg, Frode Hagen and winger Lislerud-Hansen are the ones which have those kind of merits. Otherwise, they are a good squad, but when playing in Germany in front of thousands of specs, can`t be compared with how it works in the home league (avg. around 500 specs.)
