[Jaded]

Juno looks severely underrated to me - an absolutely superb film, and the writers' strike may have everyone looking for a bit of cheer. Boylesports have it 18/1 for Best Picture - the market is dominated by There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men, and it's probably very likely to go to one of those to, but 18/1 might be worth a little nibble. Big potential for me, though, is it's lead actress Ellen Page, who's 10/1 to win Best Actress. She's on-screen virtually all the way through the film, gives an incredibly composed, likeable and realistic performance, and takes what could have been a reasonable movie about teen pregnancy into one of the top few films released over the past 5-10 years. Julie Christie is the huge favourite and may get it since it's her 'farewell performance', by the sound of things, but I'd say Page was much better value. 10/1 at VC, Coral and 365.
