Importance Of Travelling Trainers

How much emphasis do board members put on trainers that travel long distances to run a horse when making a selection.I look at all horses that travel over 150 miles but that does not make them a selection as i have other criteria for selections what are your thoughts lets see how these go at carlisle

Re: Importance Of Travelling Trainers If Ive narrowed the selections down to say 3 or 4 in a race then I do look at the 'longest travelled' more so on Sundays etc ie not on a what I would say a main day like Friday or Saturday. Obviously those coming from Ireland are usually the longest but I also look for mainland UK based trainers travelling long distances. As you say its not the be all and end of but it can swing a decision.
