How do YOU do it?

I'm making a concerted effort to spend more time dedicated to horse racing, i love the sport and evrything that goes with. I am very much a novice however, but a novice that is eager to learn. One obstacle however is just the time needed - I, like most of you i'm sure, have to juggle girlfirend, social life, a pretty demanding job, other hobbies and boring things like shopping, DIY etc meaning the actual time i can spend on the laptop is limited. So do you guys go through every race on the days card? Do you just look at the 'better' races or the ones from 'the north'? How do you forumlate your bets of the day? Sorry for the vague questions, but wil be v. interested to know how you guys approach your bets.

Re: How do YOU do it? I normally aviod handicaps. So this reduces the workload. Then I expect to spend about 3 hours studying form and the markets to arrive at my bets if any.
