It's been disasterous from the start but with the last, unexpected, bet there is some light at the end of the tunnel. I have a set of goals each month. None of those were anywhere near being met on January and till I switched to singles this month it was looking like another disaster. The point of this each month is to bank £100 and then after that everything will be pure profit. That though is way down the priority pecking order after the disaster that was January. Last month I only banked £8.32 which was a massive £91.68 short. With only £34.13 balance left I had to stick in another £66.00 to make up this month's £100.00 (£100.13 to be exact) starting balance. It started badly again this month. After 3 bets I'd lost £20.42 of my balance while banking only £7.80. So I switched from multiples to singles and since it has paid dividends. Hopefully this trend can now continue. The first goal was to bank at least £66.00 to cover what I put in and that I have just achieved with the Galatasaray win. That leaves me now to look to my next goals which are: #1. Bank £66.00 Complete #2. Bank £100.00 #3. Restore balance to at least £100.00. #4. Bank £166.00. #5. Bank £200.00. 2 and 3 are achievable this month but 3 espacially will be very difficult to achieve as this is variable with every bet I place. 4 and 5 are long term goals to achieve an overall break even point- where I have banked as much as I have put in- and therefore a point of pure profit to follow. This is my best run with 8 winners in a row which has made a profit of just under £50. That will no doubt end soon but it's been a good boost. Normally that would mean 18% of the balance staked next but as the last bet was forced upon me I've decided to home back the staking at 17% for that one bet. The stakes are now increasing once again. This is the second largest stake so far which is evidence of the climb as the biggest stakes should not come 40 bets into the month. The biggest so far was bet 27 this month @£11.78. That was Atletico not to lose at Bolton and it lost. Effectively I have a week left to get there. £100 bank would mean pure profit for the month thereafter. With few days left that won't be much but the signs are good for a recovery next month.
