Re: Virgin Festival - Newcastle

Just been to the Virgin website and found details of their next festival. It's quite close to home for me, so hopefully I can qualify and do better than last time... When? 12th - 13th April 2008 What? Back by popular demand the Virgin Poker Festival heads to the Aspers Casino in Newcastle. Virgin are planning a fun filled poker weekend designed to appeal to live poker newbies as well as experienced players. Virgin are able to guarantee: £105 two day, deep stack main event. £5,000 added to prize pool. £1000 of value added bounties. Bad beat prize of return flight to Vegas Two added value, low stakes side events. Wii Bowling, bar promos and heads up challenges How? There will be no direct buy-ins. All players must qualify online. There are 3 standard ways to qualify Festival Weekly (€15 + 1.50) every Sunday evening at 6.30pm (GMT). The first runs 19th Jan. Festival Super Rebuy (€5 + €0.50) every Thursday evening at 8.15pm (GMT) Festival Satellite (to Festival Weekly) (€1.65 + €.15) every day at 7.30 (GMT)
Hey Guys, I've won my ticket to Newcastle and I wondered if Virgin would have a problem with me trying to win another ticket so I can take a mate? What do you think?

Re: Virgin Festival - Newcastle :welcome to PL :ok and congrats on winning the seat

Hey Guys' date=' I've won my ticket to Newcastle and I wondered if Virgin would have a problem with me trying to win another ticket so I can take a mate? What do you think?[/quote'] My understanding from Virgin is that transfers this time will not be allowed as a matter of course - the simple answer therefore would be that no you couldn't. Having said that, Virgin have always been fair and reasonable - I suggest you contact them direct and ask for their guidance... You realise that you can take a guest on your ticket? (But the guest will not have a seat in the main event) - assuming it's the same as last time... PS Make sure you read post 23....
