As for Milan, this is a simple as, they have a poor record @ home, true, but they lost their last game against Roma, Sampdoria is 4 points away from them next in the table. If Milan loses this, they see the champions league slipping from their hands, and see Sampdoria getting even closer. This is a risk they simply can't take, so this is a WIN or WIN situation.
