Re: Best Bet of the Day 04/01 3.10 Southwell 14 runners hoping to line up for this Class 6 handicap over 7f on this AW track. Normally, it suits to race up with the pace and I'm siding with one that races prominently although it has a wide draw to overcome: Cleveland (RPF 7/1) - Ok, it is drawn in 12 which is not ideal and off for 51 days but, other than that, has everything in its favour. It's also feasible that, over the distance, it will have plenty of time to tack over. C&D winner, and now back over its best trip over 7f. Dropped in grade too as well as eased a further couple of pounds in the handicap. Goes well here, goes well for this jockey, is back in its grade, over its best trip, and stable in form. Record here over 7f in Class 6 or below is 1-1-3-2-4. The only poor run being when 4th but there was no pace and the horse didn't settle. Would be very keen to oppose fav Haroldini off its revised rating so anything around 7/1 would be a great price for the EW horse here. EW
