Re: Leopardstown 28/12 Denman 2.35 Leopardstown (WIN) I originally thought The Listener may have the beating of this but that one could go off in front and set the race up perfectly for Denman. If this is going to be considered a real Gold Cup contender it has to win in style after Kautos amazing performance. They are both excellent horses in a sea of mediocrity at the moment. Denman won the Hennessy in fine style but its main rival fell and the others were not up to this class. It can only beat what is up against it and it has done just that. No doubts about the trip or class of the horse, has won on good, gd-sft, soft and heavy so quite versatile there. I think The Listener may have wanted it softer, same goes for Beef Or Salmon which may be slightly overpriced for a multiple Group 1 winner in Ireland and that one clearly loves the course but hard to see past Denman if it has travelled over without any problems. Double it up with the one in the Catterick thread for maximum profit.
